Senior Business Events Manager responsible for delivering high-profile events aligned with ISCC's sustainability mission. Engaging diverse stakeholders and enhancing brand presence through innovative event design.
Responsibilities
You will design and deliver high-profile cross-format events – from global stakeholder conferences to high-impact workshops
Create internal engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong organizational culture
Translate strategic objectives into event concepts that strengthen ISCC’s visibility and thought leadership in sustainability certification and related topics
Take full responsibility for budget oversight, contract negotiations, and vendor management to ensure cost-efficient excellence
Anticipate and resolve logistical and technical event complexities (including AV setups), ensuring seamless experiences for speakers and participants worldwide
Evaluate and integrate advanced conference technologies to create engaging and scalable participant experiences
Continuously refine planning, documentation, and feedback processes, developing reporting frameworks and KPIs to monitor performance and uphold the highest quality standards for ISCC events
Introduce innovative engagement methods (e.g., interactive tools, networking formats) to foster stakeholder dialogue and collaboration
Act as the go-to expert for complex event design, offering solutions that combine creativity with operational feasibility
Work closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to coordinate programs, resource allocation, and participant communication
Cultivate strong relationships with international partners, speakers, and participants, creating inclusive, high-impact formats that resonate across cultures and industries
Align event and conference strategies with ISCC’s corporate communications guidelines, expand sponsorship concepts, and support sales and business development initiatives
Reinforce ISCC’s brand presence by ensuring events consistently deliver measurable impact and value
Requirements
University degree (Master’s) in Event or Project Management, Business Administration, Communications, Sustainability, or a related field
At least 4 years of professional experience with a strong track record of delivering high-profile, multi-format events
Deep expertise in event/conference technology and digital platforms, including AV setups, virtual engagement tools, and hybrid solutions
Demonstrated ability to design strategic events that align with organizational objectives, enhance brand presence, and engage diverse stakeholders
Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency
Excellent English language skills (written and spoken); German language skills are an advantage
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and high-profile stakeholders
Strong IT affinity with experience working on Mac computers, including Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook), digital collaboration tools, and event technologies
