About the role
- Senior Automation Engineer responsible for executing projects delivering Distributed Control Systems for various industries. Role includes project design, implementation, and factory acceptance testing in Romania.
Responsibilities
- Support Lead Engineers / Project Managers in understanding, managing and achieving each customer’s expectations.
- Take ownership of the engineering activities (DeltaV DCS design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and start-up) on all allocated tasks.
- Provide Lead Engineers / Project Managers with all necessary support and information to ensure they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress, and areas of risk for the allocated tasks.
- Fully understand the scope of work within their portfolio.
- Ensure engineering activities align with the Company's quality control processes and meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Acquire, maintain, and actively share knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (Automation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering)
- Minimum of four years of experience in automation project execution for different industry segments (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Metals & Mining, or Pharmaceutical industries) with DCS and/or PLC good technical knowledge.
- Proficient in English.
