About the role
- Sr. Analyst in Loyalty & Guest Analytics at Hyatt, driving insights and strategy from data analysis. Collaborating globally to improve loyalty program outcomes and guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Leading ad hoc analytics projects that support decision-making for key stakeholders (with an emphasis on the Americas Loyalty and Partnership teams) by scoping requirements and deliverables, securing timelines and resources, and executing projects.
- Setting program KPI goals, monitoring performance, and leveraging results to provide insights and recommendations for improving loyalty program outcomes.
- Supporting loyalty program offer development, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Promoting the World of Hyatt value proposition through metrics and insights development.
- Analyzing guest and non-member data to identify trends, patterns, and behaviors.
- Monitoring performance metrics related to engagement, acquisition, and conversion of non-member guests.
- Identifying opportunities for deeper analytical support and developing reporting products to address gaps.
- Assisting in developing self-service analytics tools and providing curated dashboards and insights for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with quantitative emphasis
- 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst, preferably in marketing or loyalty programs
- Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights that inform decision-making
- Experience measuring organizational performance and developing models to identify metric relationships and predict outcomes
- Proficient in building and automating reports for business stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for extracting and analyzing large transactional datasets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Experience providing data and reporting QA
- Effective at communicating analytical findings to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
- Strong analytic thinker with attention to detail
