Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and local community partners to drive Queensland Rail operations
Provide community and stakeholder engagement for high-profile, large-scale infrastructure projects including accessibility upgrades and track renewals
Create communications materials using design programs and ensure consistency and quality
Develop and implement customer, community engagement, and stakeholder communication plans
De-escalate sensitive community situations and build rapport with stakeholders
Foster and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders
Balance multiple priorities and deliver work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure or major projects fields
Strong skills using InDesign (or similar design programs) to create communications materials
Ability to build rapport and sense of connectedness with the community to de-escalate sensitive situations
Identify and capitalise on key stakeholder and engagement opportunities
Develop customer, community engagement, and stakeholder communication plans
Lead and model customer-focused behaviour by delivering the highest standards of service to stakeholders and community partners
Foster and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders
Ability to balance multiple priorities with tight deadlines within a fast-paced work environment
Bachelor’s degree in communications (or equivalent) highly regarded
If residing outside Queensland, must relocate to Brisbane by start date (full-time remote or fly-in/fly-out not supported)
