Oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), bank transactions, general ledger (GL), and reconciliations.
Manage all disbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Handle all tax-related payments and inquiries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP, bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial areas, including the preparation and maintenance of supporting schedules.
Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Conduct quarterly asset counts and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with the Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance regarding month-end entries in SAP.
Supervise the Junior Accountant in procurement-related tasks.
Mentor and oversee Junior Accounting Staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
Prepare reports related to AP aging, bills scheduler, credit card transactions, and other disbursement-related items.
Maintain organized financial records with the assistance of the Junior Accountant.
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax management
At least 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle
