About the role
- Drive new business by hunting and developing public sector accounts (e.g., local government, healthcare, insurance)
- Leverage your experience and network to convert prospects into long-term customers
- Collaborate closely with System Engineers to develop account strategies, build tailored value propositions, and deliver product demonstrations
- Work with channel partners to expand reach and gain access to new accounts
- Ensure operational excellence through accurate forecasting, pipeline management in Salesforce (SFDC), and disciplined sales execution
- Stay current on our competitive landscape and articulate our unique value in the market
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SaaS sales, with a strong and verifiable track record of exceeding revenue targets in the German public sector
- Deep understanding of public sector sales cycles, procurement processes, and stakeholder management
- Ideally, experience in selling enterprise security or IT solutions; exceptional candidates from other SaaS domains are welcome
- Strong business acumen and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including CISOs and IT decision-makers
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools
- Existing relationships within the German public sector are a strong plus
