About the role

  • Identify and target new business opportunities for The Learning Institute.
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new logos and expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide expert consulting services to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to drive their success.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
  • Represent SS&C Technologies at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional services, with a focus on business development.
  • Experience selling Learning Management Systems, e-Learning, and/or custom training content preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully prospecting and acquiring new clients.
  • Strong understanding of the learning and development industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
