Responsibilities
Develop sales to specified core customer group - This includes developing sales plans with senior management support, setting targets, and monitoring performance against objectives.
Work with Marketing teams to manage web-generated leads through to Sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
Understand clients’ needs and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Engage in license and contract negotiations, understanding core use cases of CDP data.
Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform business development strategies.
Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting, ensuring Dynamics 365 (D365) is kept up to date.
Track and report on business development activities, including sales performance and pipeline status.
Represent CDP at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve business development processes and strategies.
Requirements
Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the sustainability sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience in selling ideally to financial or non-financial corporates, with an understanding of customers' internal teams responsible for purchase decisions.
Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience.
