About the role
- Oversee HSWB strategy across Entain ANZ with a primary focus on New Zealand
- Turn HSW strategy into action and deliver business-wide safety initiatives
- Lead risk and incident management including investigations and injury prevention
- Ensure contractor safety, induction, and compliance across all sites
- Build leader capability through coaching, training, and practical tools
- Support wellbeing and psychosocial programs for employees
- Analyse HSW data and insights to improve systems, processes, and compliance
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects, governance forums and strategic initiatives
- Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed and travel across New Zealand
Requirements
- Health & safety experience with a relevant qualification (Level 6 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of HSWA, regulations, and codes of practice
- Skilled in managing contractor safety, audit delivery, and injury escalation
- Experience investigating incidents and mentoring leaders
- Experience lifting safety culture
- Confident with HSWB systems, reporting, and wellbeing program design
- Collaborative communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must be at least 18 years old due to wagering industry requirements
