About the role

  • Oversee HSWB strategy across Entain ANZ with a primary focus on New Zealand
  • Turn HSW strategy into action and deliver business-wide safety initiatives
  • Lead risk and incident management including investigations and injury prevention
  • Ensure contractor safety, induction, and compliance across all sites
  • Build leader capability through coaching, training, and practical tools
  • Support wellbeing and psychosocial programs for employees
  • Analyse HSW data and insights to improve systems, processes, and compliance
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects, governance forums and strategic initiatives
  • Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed and travel across New Zealand

Requirements

  • Health & safety experience with a relevant qualification (Level 6 or higher)
  • Strong knowledge of HSWA, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Skilled in managing contractor safety, audit delivery, and injury escalation
  • Experience investigating incidents and mentoring leaders
  • Experience lifting safety culture
  • Confident with HSWB systems, reporting, and wellbeing program design
  • Collaborative communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old due to wagering industry requirements
