About the role
- Release Train Engineer responsible for steering Agile Release Train success at Cox Automotive. Supporting software delivery in large environments through communication, coordination, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supporting an Agile Release Train (ART)
- Steering the ART to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software in large environments
- Helping resolve and escalate impediments

- Driving program level continuous improvement
- Overall coordination, execution and delivery of value through the program
- Ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments and goals
- Facilitating the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the ART
- Working with the ART team who prioritizes the features to be considered in the next program increment (PI) planning cycle
- Assisting the ART in communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination for and during quarterly planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- 2 years’ experience in a related field
- or a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience
- or 6 years’ experience in a related field
- Prior experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Project/Program Manager
- Strong technical aptitude
- Experience leading teams in delivering quality software
- Experience with Jira, Rally, or Target experience preferred.
