Responsibilities
Perform technical analyses and calculations for civil engineering applications including stormwater management, river and wetland restoration, and dam removal/restoration
Collaborate with your manager to solve engineering challenges and progressively take on project ownership
Assist with preparing design plans, technical specifications, engineer’s estimates, and critical path project schedules
Perform construction-related fieldwork and/or oversight (e.g., stream surveys and restoration, dam inspections, stormwater management facilities)
Be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers committed to improving ecosystems, communities, and quality of life.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, or water resources engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited university
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
Valid driver’s license.
0-3 years of applicable work experience
EIT certification (preferred)
Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects involving design, permitting, and construction oversight
Experience with hydrologic modeling (HMS, HydroCAD) and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS – steady and unsteady flow)
Experience with GIS.
