Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a product line.
- Maintain publication data and support creation of technical literature.
- Understanding of the automotive aftermarket, especially the heavy duty (HD) segment.
- Perform research of the OE and aftermarket competitors’ catalogs and components for information regarding new parts additions.
- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of application and product data in all publications.
- Coordinate the development of all new product programs.
- Establish product and material specifications.
- Maintain close liaison with MAHLE Aftermarket Service Engineering.
- Assist field sales personnel with customer needs and requirements.
- Create mutually beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Technology, Engineering or related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in Automotive or Aftermarket.
- 5 years experience in Product Management in the Heavy Duty industry is required.
- Working knowledge of internal combustion engines, engine sealing product design and materials.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge required in computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints desired.
- International experience is preferred.
