About the role
- Real Estate Manager overseeing lease negotiations, property management, and portfolio analysis at US Foods. Collaborating with legal and managing landlord relationships in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Senior Director, Real Estate and work independently and as part of a team
- Negotiate with landlords for new or renewal leases and extensions on assigned properties
- Collaborate with Legal Department to draft documentation related to leases
- Analyze ongoing business usage of rental properties and identify candidates for lease termination
- Review and proofread contracts; maintain accurate real estate records
- Work with legal in preparing documentation for exercise of renewal options and extensions
- Design, prepare and interpret real estate reports as requested
- Support due diligence activities for property purchases or sales
- Manage all aspects of surplus properties
- Maintain relationships with landlords and mediate issues as necessary
- Support Senior Director in Supply Chain Network initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required (preferably in real estate, business, finance, or accounting)
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years corporate real estate experience
