Responsibilities
Advises and supports municipal utilities on sustainability and environmental protection matters
Drives the expansion and further development of consulting services together with the ASEW team
Maintains exchange with municipal utilities and positions themselves as a subject-matter expert in this field
Prepares robust environmental, risk and sustainability analyses
Develops methodological frameworks for consulting projects
Systematically evaluates data and information and derives actionable recommendations
Identifies technological and methodological trends and brings this knowledge into projects in a practical way
Plans, designs and facilitates events and working groups.
Requirements
Degree with a focus on environmental management, energy/environmental engineering, or sustainability
Initial professional experience in consulting in the field of sustainability or environmental protection
Familiar with current regulations and frameworks (CSRD, ESRS, VSME, LkSG, EMAS, GHG Protocol, etc.)
Enjoys preparing complex data in an accessible way and is comfortable switching between technical detail work and a strategic perspective
Professional demeanor and experience in workshops and consulting projects
Able to advance projects efficiently through quick comprehension and an independent working style
Motivated, communicative and committed to working in a team
Characterized by diligence, reliability and creativity.
