About the role
- Project planning and Gantt chart management
- Develop detailed Gantt charts for all active and upcoming projects related to new product introductions
- Work closely with all task owners (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, etc.) to confirm task durations, dependencies and key milestones
- Maintain and update Gantt charts weekly to reflect actual progress against the plan
- Track project status, identify delays or bottlenecks, and publish updated reports for stakeholders
- Ensure the project schedule remains the single source of truth for all project deadlines and deliverables
- Facilitate ongoing cross-functional communication to ensure coordination among all relevant departments
- Proactively identify risks, impediments or interdepartmental challenges that could delay progress
- Promote adherence to project governance processes and documentation standards
- This is a highly hands-on role
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years of project management experience in manufacturing, product management or life sciences
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or equivalent Gantt-based planning tools
- Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify interdependencies and risks
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in French and English (spoken and written) required.
