About the role
- Project Engineer managing high and medium complexity projects from order acquisition to delivery at customer site in Singapore. Providing technical support and ensuring project deliverables are met on time.
Responsibilities
- Manage high and medium complexity projects from order acquisition to delivery at customer site.
- Managing and customizing the technical project documentation.
- Providing technical support during the execution.
- Coordinate major / complex projects from order to delivery at customer site.
- Establish a project plan in compliance with Prince II principles.
- Be a single point of contact for the customer and internal team.
- Manage the project deliverables.
- Monitor the scheduling, process and delivery time of the production process.
- Review contracts to determine what documentation is required for each phase of the project.
- Manage completion of the project deliverables, including placing order for all materials, delivery of commissioning and installation services, progressing of PO, completion of documents, shipping requirements and invoicing.
- Ensure complete order files by checking drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with Service & Installation for commissioning and services, purchasing, manufacturing, and finance to ensure on time delivery and invoicing.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Electrical degree in engineering or similar.
- Prince II certificate (preferred) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales / engineering environment.
- Basic understanding of commercial/contract law.
- Good understanding of a project P&L and cash flow.
- Good basic knowledge of electrical engineering processes.
- Computer literacy.
- Fluent in English.
