About the role
- Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer leading environmental investigation and remediation projects at Geosyntec Consultants. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to tackle complex environmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of environmental due diligence, remedial investigations, and cleanup actions on known or suspected contaminated sites.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of geologists, environmental engineers, and scientists.
- Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation approaches, including feasibility studies and cleanup action plans.
- Prepare and review technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
- Assist in the growth of business development efforts by obtaining repeat business from existing clients and winning new clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, geologic engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Master’s degree in environmental engineering, geologic engineering, or related engineering discipline. (preferred)
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain. (preferred)
- At least 8 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Relevant coursework or experience in contaminant fate and transport.
- Knowledge of state and federal cleanup laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance for cleanup of contaminated sites.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Clear and professional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
