About the role
- Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst III preparing and coordinating integrated master schedules for complex projects. Leading risk analysis and collaborating across cross-functional teams in aerospace and defense.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, development, and coordination of integrated master plans and schedules for highly complex projects.
- Track and maintain project plans and schedules to ensure horizontal and vertical integration across the enterprise.
- Perform advanced risk analysis to identify and mitigate schedule risks.
- Identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts using Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and other project management techniques.
- Evaluate schedule compliance and identify reasons for completion shortfalls.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on schedule status to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive scheduling data.
- Support program management in developing and implementing advanced scheduling best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior and intermediate analysts on scheduling techniques and best practices.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or a related field and 6 years or more of related work experience.
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Experience in Microsoft Project.
- 4+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, or a related field.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
