About the role
- Product Owner guiding Scrum team in delivering products for Alpega Group, optimizing backlog and ensuring alignment with product vision. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Take the role of Product Owner in scrum teams
- Providing plan of delivery to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
- Create epics & user stories based on the plan
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product vision and strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Lead and/or participate in all SCRUM ceremonies
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Measure and analyze the application usage
- Follow our competitors and the industry
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Product Owner role
- Additional years of experience in a tech company is a plus
- Education with technical background is a plus but not mandatory
- Able to work efficiently in English
- Spanish or French are a plus but not mandatory
- Good communication skills
