About the role

  • Take the role of Product Owner in scrum teams
  • Providing plan of delivery to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Create epics & user stories based on the plan
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product vision and strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead and/or participate in all SCRUM ceremonies
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Measure and analyze the application usage
  • Follow our competitors and the industry

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Product Owner role
  • Additional years of experience in a tech company is a plus
  • Education with technical background is a plus but not mandatory
  • Able to work efficiently in English
  • Spanish or French are a plus but not mandatory
  • Good communication skills
