Prioritize development work within an Agile approach, maximizing value delivered each sprint.
Work closely with development and UI/UX design teams to ensure a smooth and effective user experience.
Model usage through personas, user journeys, and typical accounting scenarios (e.g., invoice management, bank reconciliations).
Ensure the quality and relevance of deliverables by validating features and measuring their impact on users.
Train and inform internal teams about product updates, and contribute to the go-to-market strategy.
Conduct competitive intelligence to position the product as a reference in the field.
Act as a product ambassador, facilitating communication between technical teams, users, and leadership.
Communicate with influence: translate requirements into clear language for technical teams and rally stakeholders around the product vision.
Measure success: define key performance indicators and monitor product evolution to maximize its impact.
Monitor the market: perform regular benchmarks to stay ahead of competitors.
Act as a cross-functional leader: build bridges between teams, foster collaboration, and instill a strong product culture.
Requirements
Proven experience in product management, ideally within B2B or accounting software.
Accounting designation (asset)
Bachelor's degree in business administration or another relevant field.
Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes (major asset).
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to prioritize and make decisions quickly.
Analytical mindset and ability to turn data into product insights.
Natural leadership, able to rally teams around a shared vision.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong customer orientation, with a passion for creating useful and intuitive solutions.
Basic knowledge of English is required, as we have English-speaking clients, partners, and vendors, and the role may occasionally require communication in English.
