About the role

  • Act as the primary owner of our games, driving the overall vision and ensuring they balance player satisfaction with commercial success.
  • Maintain the internal product roadmap and feature set for live game titles.
  • Define and track KPIs like retention, engagement, and monetisation, and optimise features and systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate with design and analytics teams on monetisation strategies and player behaviour insights.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and use feedback to inform product direction.
  • Own and prioritise the backlog, write user stories, and lead sprint planning.
  • Write clear, actionable product specifications.
  • Collaborate with production, game designers, engineers, artists, and QA to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Oversee content updates, live events, and feature rollouts.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests to optimise engagement and monetisation.
  • Work with player support and community teams to gather insights and act as the internal voice of the player.
  • Partner with production to evaluate internal processes and research external tools to improve workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in product management roles within the video game development industry.
  • Experience with F2P (free-to-play) games, live operations, or GaaS (Games-as-a-Service).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the gaming market landscape.
  • Demonstrated expertise in roadmap planning, product vision setting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and derive actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of game development pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing feature development, launches, or live services in a game environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile gaming market — and a genuine passion for games.
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Unity, Unreal, and analytics platforms.
