Responsibilities
Contributes to strengthening PrestaShop's core through major initiatives, such as supporting multiple carriers per order, and other initiatives to be identified
Improves module interoperability with each other and with the platform core through foundational technical work
Simplifies upgrades via the Update Assistant module
Manages the operation and maintenance of two legacy modules: PrestaShop Marketing with Google and PrestaShop Social with Facebook
Drives continuous evolution and optimization of PrestaShop's native core theme, Hummingbird, to ensure performance, compatibility and modernity
Identifies areas where the PrestaShop core could better address needs and proposes a clear, well-argued roadmap to tackle these "must-haves"
Defines metrics to measure success in an open source context
Designs solutions with the squad and actively participates in technical refinement
Requirements
You have a strong technical background, possibly as a former PHP developer; you understand code, architecture and developers' constraints
You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Product Manager in a tech environment
You can challenge and make trade-offs with tech teams while maintaining a business perspective
You naturally connect technical KPIs with product impact
You are organized, structured and comfortable making decisions based on facts
You are clear and precise in your communication, whether it's a technical RFC or a message to the CPO
You use AI in your daily work and are eager to continuously improve your ways of working
You are fluent in French and have professional-level English (spoken and written)
