About the role

• PHP Developer developing APIs for health and fitness software at Tecnofit. Collaborating on enhancements, maintenance, and quality assurance testing in a scalable environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure APIs that adhere to REST standards;
• Perform system maintenance and implement necessary fixes to meet user needs;
• Build, debug, and test programs, and perform maintenance on existing applications;
• Participate autonomously in strategic decisions for the department;
• Guide team implementations considering code standards, scalability, and quality;
• Develop new features;
• Database access;
• Maintain and refactor existing features;
• Develop unit and integration tests;
• Fix bugs;
• Task refinement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress);
• Experience programming in PHP;
• Experience with MySQL;
• Experience with APIs and RESTful standards;
• Experience with unit testing using PHPUnit;
• Front-end experience (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery);
• Experience with version control and pull requests (Git);
• Experience with Docker.
