About the role

  • Handle primarily motor vehicle accident cases in litigation, and other personal injury cases (dog bites, premises liability)
  • Day-to-day handling of motor vehicle accident cases in litigation
  • Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions and memoranda
  • Guide clients through the case process
  • Interact with expert witnesses; conduct conferences and draft expert reports and affidavits
  • Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
  • Conduct trial preparation
  • Attend training programs and seminars, possibly outside normal business hours

Requirements

  • Litigation: 5 years (Required)
  • Attorney: 5 years (Required)
  • Personal injury law: 2 years (Required)
  • Indiana Bar License REQUIRED
  • An active member in good standing with the State Bar Association
  • Ability to manage volume average of 50+ litigation cases
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; employer participates in E-Verify
