About the role

  • Manage payroll and TATS project phases: initiation, planning, execution, control, monitoring, and closing
  • Ensure all deliverables and milestones for payroll transition are actioned, approved, and updated
  • Act as a project liaison for HR, Finance, and DIT managers in EU markets, ensuring effective communication
  • Lead the project team and coordinate activities with country and vendor representatives
  • Capture and develop new knowledge, leading standardization, elimination, and automation activities
  • Lead regional and local discussions for time and payroll transformation
  • Generate status reports and escalate issues to the Core team and HR Leadership Team (HRLT)
  • Provide solutions to business and system challenges within the project team
  • Build and lead the project plan, executing milestones, testing, training, go-live, hyper-care, and handover
  • Contribute to contract creation with payroll vendors, collaborating with the Procurement team
  • Create scope of services and RASCI between vendor, project, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure new payroll processes and TATS comply with European and local regulations
  • Develop escalation processes and risk management plans
  • Manage the transition from each market to the vendor, including knowledge transfer and change management
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, SSC, DIT, and HR to ensure outsourcing processes align with project scope and structure

Requirements

  • Expert in project and change management principles and practices
  • Experience with working at/for a Shared Service Center
  • Extensive experience in managing payroll vendor transitions across multiple European countries, including outsourcing and implementing payroll and HR systems
  • Proven ability in handling end-to-end payroll processing and managing high-volume payroll operations
  • Deep understanding of payroll processes and time/absence regulations, with comprehensive knowledge of European legal requirements
  • Strong ability and experience to manage complex projects and work with cross-functional and international teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and very strong stakeholder and vendor management
  • Ability to adapt to different corporate cultures and local regulations
  • Solid grasp of the general principles involved in establishing contracts with vendors and applying these principles effectively
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management
  • Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from HR, payroll, financial and numerical material
  • Effectively communicating and presenting complex HR, payroll, financial and IT data (both verbally and written) to influence all levels and global audiences
  • Fluent in English
