About the role

  • Support day-to-day finance operations for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Own accounts payable/receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and employee expense processing
  • Report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with the Intermediate Company Accountant
  • Support the finance team in various tasks and respond to financial requests from across the organization
  • Be meticulous with a strong attention to detail to underpin the finance function during a phase of accelerated growth

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control
  • Ability to work independently and manage own priorities; self-starter attitude
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada
  • Experience in multi-entity and/or project-based environments is an asset
  • Familiarity or experience with expense and AP Automation would be looked upon favourably
  • Fluency in English required, bilingual an asset
