Ensure accurate accounting information for the companies in Brazil;
Comply with corporate legislation;
Participate in preparing the annual budget and quarterly revisions;
Produce the annual financial statements, monthly trial balances and balance sheets;
Define and provide guidance on account classifications, cost centers, etc.;
Establish the accounting closing schedule;
Define management reports for governance and decision-making;
Ensure the integrated system (ERP) reflects legislative changes;
Provide technical development for the accounting, tax, cost and finance teams;
Requirements
Specialist knowledge in Accounting and Finance, including legislation and practices (US GAAP);
Experience with systems such as Protheus and SAP;
Knowledge of ERP systems: functionality and configuration of calculation processes for accounting;
Experience in people management;
Experience preparing budgets, accounting reports and management reports for decision-making;
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting;
Language: Fluent English required (reading, writing and speaking).
