Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to deliver paralegal support to the Asset, Trade and Export Finance Banking team
Use precedents to draft basic documentation
Manage and keep organised conditions precedent
Assist with the co-ordination of and preparation for the closing of transactions
Assist with any post completion registrations or other steps that may be needed
Be responsible for producing transaction bibles and distributing original documents
Liaising with clients and counterparties in a timely, courteous and professional manner
Drafting emails and correspondence on behalf of fee earners
Undertaking legal research
Providing administrative support to fee earners
Filing and maintaining correspondence and documentation
Requirements
Minimum 2 years previous Banking paralegal experience (essential)
A qualification in law, minimum 2.1 (Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work well under pressure and to very tight deadlines (essential)
Ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task
Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate drive and initiative
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to deal effectively with Partners and professionals across the firm
