About the role

  • Office Administrator managing remote operations for Employment Hero, focusing on creating a great workplace experience. Overseeing office tasks, employee support, and culture initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks to ensure smooth functioning of the workplace.
  • Be the go-to contact with building management for facilities, security, parking, and compliance.
  • Manage procurement - work with vendors, purchase supplies, and keep inventory in check.
  • Manage office expenses and employee reimbursements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee our private healthcare insurance program and support employees with claims and inquiries.
  • Organize and coordinate internal social events, team gatherings, and company parties to enhance employee engagement.
  • Support culture initiatives, including essential workshops and programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure timely support and effective administrative services.

Requirements

  • Proven 1+ year of experience in office administration, operations, or a similar role.
  • A positive, open-minded, and professional attitude.
  • The ability to stay calm and organized while juggling multiple priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to work with people across teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace (bonus if you’re handy with admin tools).
  • English communication skills (written & verbal) to work with global teams.
  • Basic design skills (Canva or similar) - not mandatory but a big plus for making things happen faster.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Office Management, or a related field (preferred).
