About the role

  • Daily operational responsibilities would include incident resolution, problem management, and monitoring improvements to the network security infrastructure
  • Evaluate roadmaps and future network solutions to ensure best practices and solutions
  • Capacity planning and availability management of services and infrastructure
  • Implement and recommend best practices and process efficiencies and continually update documentation
  • Ensure the network infrastructure is routinely assessed and updated with patches.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as a global team for after-hours support

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise networks, specifically with a Cisco networking background.
  • 3+ years of experience with office wireless technologies (Cisco).
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Center networking.
  • Hands-on experience with office deployments is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Juniper MX Routers.
  • Experience with PA Firewalls
  • Operational experience with Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Familiarity with private and public cloud solutions is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of standards with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CCNP preferred
  • Scripting and automation experience in UNIX shell, Python, PowerShell, or Perl is desirable.
