Responsibilities
Support defining and executing pricing & packaging strategy:
Own the development and execution of pricing and packaging strategies for PointClickCare's products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer value, and market dynamics.
Develop KPIs and monitor performance: Define and track key pricing-related metrics (e.g., ASP, ARPU, discount rates, attach rates, sales velocity, margin impact), ensuring visibility to leadership through dashboards, reporting, and regular business reviews.
Support Strategic Deals: Provide hands-on support for high-impact or complex deals, ensuring pricing configurations maximize customer success and PointClickCare's business objectives.
Drive monetization and GTM strategy:
Define and implement monetization strategies for new products and features, from early ideation through launch and scale, in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
Enable field success: Support and enable Sales, Partners, and Customer Success through training, tools, and thought leadership that communicate pricing updates, competitive positioning, and value articulation.
Conduct market & customer analysis:
Perform comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research—including competitive analysis, customer segmentation, usage behavior, and pricing trends—to inform strategic decisions.
Optimize pricing models with data:
Use financial modeling, experimentation, and advanced analytics to evaluate, optimize, and evolve pricing structures, discounting frameworks, and packaging options across PointClickCare's portfolio.
Lead cross-functional initiatives:
Act as a strategic advisor and central liaison between Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to align pricing decisions with go-to-market strategies, product roadmap, and operational execution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field required. MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
7+ years of relevant experience in pricing strategy, monetization, or deal structuring within SaaS, enterprise software, or consulting environments.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with SaaS business models, pricing frameworks, and value-based pricing strategies
Deep understanding of enterprise sales motions, customer value drivers, and the connection between product features and commercial outcomes
Proven analytical rigor with significant hands-on experience in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and market research.
Strong business judgment with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Experience developing and tracking KPIs to measure pricing effectiveness and impact.
