About the role

  • Represent the Slack platform and services: Use market and customer insights, along with deep product knowledge, to demonstrate how Slack meets client needs.
  • Drive new business: Effectively sell Slack’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Manage customer accounts: Maintain relationships with existing clients and proactively work to reduce churn.
  • Negotiate contracts: Lead pricing discussions and commercial agreement negotiations.
  • Provide customer support: Address client inquiries, offer relevant product recommendations, and ensure customers maximize their use of Slack.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Communicate customer feedback and market insights to the product and development teams.
  • Stay informed: Keep up to date with industry trends and evolving market dynamics.
  • Achieve sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by executing effective sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • +6 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in technology or SaaS.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and related sales tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine persuasion with professionalism in client interactions.
  • Strong Solution and Value Selling approach.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events.
