About the role

Responsibilities
- Play a key role in delivering a seamless and high-quality member experience
- Identify, diagnose, and address members’ consumer financial needs
- Refer members to specialized services when necessary
- Serve as a subject matter expert, resolving members' needs and providing expertise in specialized financial services
- Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales in various areas
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment
- One year of experience in a financial institution (desired)
- Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently
- Strong proficiency and comfort level with learning new systems and programs
- Ability to successfully complete a 12-week in-house training program after hire
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Credit Union key objectives, product and service solutions
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to membership, deposit, and loan products and services offered
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient math aptitude and analytical skills
- Problem resolution, negotiating, organization, multi-tasking and peer coaching skills
