Responsibilities
delivering a seamless and high-quality member experience
identifying, diagnosing, and addressing members’ consumer financial needs
referring members to specialized services when necessary
serving as a subject matter expert, resolving members' needs and providing expertise in specialized financial services
utilizing product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales
assisting the community with financial wellness through financial education programs, budgeting assistance, debt management, or access to financial planning resources
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment
One year of experience in a financial institution is desired
Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently
Strong proficiency and comfort level with learning new systems and programs
Ability to successfully complete 12-week in-house training program after hire
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Credit Union key objectives, product and service solutions
Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to membership, deposit, and loan products and services offered
Proficient verbal and written communication skills to enable daily communication with Members
Proficient math aptitude and analytical skills
Problem resolution, negotiating, organization, multi-tasking and peer coaching skills
