About the role

  • Support development and delivery of innovative and creative multi-channel marketing activity
  • Use data and insight to develop data-led content and channel plans with measurable objectives and key performance indicators
  • Develop creative content that increases brand awareness and generates high levels of audience engagement
  • Leverage the latest digital marketing tools and techniques, including marketing automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Support the optimisation of digital channels including email and social media
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including marketing agencies to inform content and planning
  • Apply the principles, policies and practices of Government Communications Service to a high professional standard

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding and experience of using digital channels and tools, including email and social media
  • Able to develop strong, productive relationships at all levels inside and outside of the organisation to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex propositions simply and adapt style to the audience and channel
  • Experience of using data and insight to monitor and improve performance of marketing activity
