Senior Strategy Advisor in content marketing at Sépaq. Responsible for market strategy and optimizing revenue while maintaining brand integrity.
Responsibilities
Act as a senior strategist, content marketing expert and influential leader.
Contribute to the development and rollout of the overall go-to-market strategy to increase brand visibility and maximize Sépaq’s revenue and profitability while respecting its mission.
Plan and deploy an innovative, high-performing content marketing strategy by developing major editorial themes and activating content initiatives (multi-product/destination, multi-season and multi-audience) across multiple platforms to achieve commercial, recruitment and civic engagement objectives (e.g.: awareness, revenue, qualified candidates, the perceived image of the organization’s social responsibility and leadership in impact actions).
Ensure optimal production, writing and distribution of identified content on owned and external channels, while maximizing the allocated budget and guaranteeing the use of best practices, adherence to brand guidelines and compliance with Sépaq quality standards for all initiatives deployed.
Evolve Sépaq’s marketing practices as an owner-operator of its own media (responsible for the digital magazines l’Effet nature and sepaq.com/blog, in addition to other emerging platforms).
Guide and support Social Media Advisors who actively contribute to the coordination, production and distribution of content, primarily for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Help build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with internal teams (Marketing, Brand, Creative and Retail, Commerce and Digital Experience) and effectively manage relationships with external partners (agencies, collaborators and influencers).
Continuously optimize content marketing activities by tracking performance indicators that measure the impact of deployed strategies and internal marketing channels used (digital magazines, social media, blog, newsletters).
Participate in promoting achieved results and best-performing initiatives, and collaborate on their integration into the department’s overall marketing ROI.
Position the team’s content marketing expertise across the various vice-presidencies and leverage it for the entire organization, notably the 46 establishments.
Serve as an advisory, inspirational and influential resource to colleagues across several vice-presidencies (Marketing and Customer Relations, Human Resources and Legal Affairs, Territories and Customer Experience).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or other equivalent training
10+ years of relevant experience, primarily in developing editorial strategies and managing large-scale content projects (from planning to delivery)
Proficiency with various formats and channels of organic and paid content marketing (websites, blogs, social media, email, video, podcasts, influencers, sponsored content, etc.)
Ability to translate business strategies into effective, high-impact marketing strategies (comfortable writing briefs and communicating them, understanding media performance KPIs and analyzing media plans, challenging recommendations, measuring and optimizing market investments to achieve objectives)
Excellent writing skills (impeccable French and the ability to create engaging storytelling content), with the ability to adapt content to different channels while optimizing for SEO (organic search)
Ability to effectively leverage the available digital tool ecosystem (e.g.: Drupal for web content management and Dialog Insight for email marketing) to optimize content production, distribution and performance
Creative, strategic and analytical thinker, innovative mindset and high agility in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment (stay on top of trends, be proactive and able to react quickly, make decisions and continuously renew)
