About the role

  • Senior Marketing Strategist leading digital marketing initiatives at Sépaq. Drive brand visibility and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Be a senior strategist, expert in paid digital marketing and an influential leader.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of the overall go-to-market strategy to increase brand reach and maximize Sépaq’s revenue and profitability.
  • Plan and ensure the execution of an innovative, high-performing media strategy by developing plans and activating national data-driven campaigns (multi-product/destination, multi-season, multi-audience and multi-market) across various paid platforms to achieve commercial, recruitment and civic engagement objectives.
  • Effectively manage relationships with external business partners (agencies) and internal teams (Brand, Creative and Retail, Commerce and Digital Experience, Business Intelligence).
  • Coach, supervise and support the Senior Marketing Technician in coordinating identified actions and monitoring the planned budget envelope.
  • Continuously optimize investments and market activities by tracking performance indicators that measure the impact of deployed strategies.
  • Promote results achieved and best practices developed, and collaborate on their integration into the department’s overall marketing ROI.
  • Help build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with experts across the Vice‑Presidency of Marketing and Customer Relations.
  • Ensure the use of marketing best practices and communication trends, as well as compliance with Sépaq quality standards for all initiatives deployed.
  • Drive the evolution of Sépaq’s marketing practices by making recommendations regarding the development and execution of marketing projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or other equivalent training
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, primarily in marketing and in managing large-scale paid campaigns in close collaboration with media strategy agencies
  • Mastery of different marketing channels, from the latest to the best-performing, and strong expertise in digital and data-driven marketing
  • Ability to translate business strategies into effective, high-impact marketing strategies (ease in writing and communicating briefs, understanding media performance indicators and analyzing media plans, challenging recommendations, measuring and optimizing market investments to achieve set objectives)
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, innovative mindset and high agility in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment (stay on top of trends, be proactive and able to react quickly, make decisions and continually renew approaches)
  • Natural leader with strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage complex projects with multiple collaborators, perform under pressure and present confidently and impactfully to large groups
  • Structured and able to manage multiple files simultaneously with rigor, exemplary attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • A high-caliber professional ready to take on challenges, able to anticipate problems and provide solutions
  • Quick learner
  • Results- and customer-satisfaction-oriented with a high level of initiative and autonomy
  • General understanding of the tourism industry and of Sépaq’s destinations, products and services (asset)
