About the role

  • Collaborate with marketing team members and internal clients to execute and manage all aspects of tradeshows, conferences, and BerryDunn-hosted events.
  • Provide logistical support for hosted events, both on-site and virtual, including scheduling and facilitating presenter technical check-ins, managing day-of logistics, venue research and coordination.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as securing contracts, coordinating with external vendors (AV, catering, etc.), shipment of event materials (collateral, booths, promotional items), and registering event attendees.
  • Research and gather event details and develop event briefs to outline all event requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain event data in various marketing systems.
  • Research event venues and digital/virtual services as needed.
  • Maintain a firm event calendar and exhibit booth tracking calendar and communicate upcoming needs to key stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned portfolio of events within the Marketing Team and with internal clients, building relationships, transparency, and accountability with our clients.
  • Provide administrative duties related to event planning, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, reconciling receipts, and maintaining event documentation.

Requirements

  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or comparable work experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in event management and project management.
  • A customer service focus with experience supporting internal and external clients and developing strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Experience using a project management platform to manage marketing or creative work.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; detail obsessed.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and navigating shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Nice to have - experience with sales and marketing automation and virtual event platforms.
  • Some lifting (50 lbs. or less) likely.
