Marketing Coordinator supporting the planning and execution of global marketing events at Red Hat. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and using data analytics for program growth.
Responsibilities
Support the strategy, planning and execution of virtual and in-person proprietary events.
When applicable, support industry events through event coordination while working closely with the event manager.
Support the creation of presentations, present virtually/live to stakeholders.
Use data analytics to recommend and drive program growth.
Support Summit data needs and system processes (i.e. VivaStream, Rainfocus, Red Hat Sales Cloud).
Create event and marketing tracking IDs in Salesforce.
Support events performance dashboard efforts.
Help to track and evaluate the performance of specific events.
When applicable, support processes to share and socialize data throughout the company.
Work closely with the broader events team, legal, sales, and field marketing teams.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (product management, marketing, sales, internal agency) to ensure event messaging and execution align with strategy.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, promotions, or communications (technology experience is a plus).
Familiarity with event and marketing technology, and marketing operation tools and tactics.
Familiarity with planning and executing marketing events.
Comfortable with data and data analysis with a desire to learn additional platforms and skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to support group discussions and meetings with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously.
Self-starter, team player, and relationship builder.
Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international), including occasional nights and weekends.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
