About the role

  • Support the strategy, planning and execution of virtual and in-person proprietary events.
  • When applicable, support industry events through event coordination while working closely with the event manager.
  • Support the creation of presentations, present virtually/live to stakeholders.
  • Use data analytics to recommend and drive program growth.
  • Support Summit data needs and system processes (i.e. VivaStream, Rainfocus, Red Hat Sales Cloud).
  • Create event and marketing tracking IDs in Salesforce.
  • Support events performance dashboard efforts.
  • Help to track and evaluate the performance of specific events.
  • When applicable, support processes to share and socialize data throughout the company.
  • Work closely with the broader events team, legal, sales, and field marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (product management, marketing, sales, internal agency) to ensure event messaging and execution align with strategy.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, promotions, or communications (technology experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with event and marketing technology, and marketing operation tools and tactics.
  • Familiarity with planning and executing marketing events.
  • Comfortable with data and data analysis with a desire to learn additional platforms and skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to support group discussions and meetings with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, team player, and relationship builder.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international), including occasional nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
