About the role

• Manager overseeing outbound royalties for Taiwan and Hong Kong markets while managing stakeholder relationships and audits in a global music company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the end-to-end outbound royalties primarily for Taiwan and Hong Kong markets
• Assist in other APAC territories when necessary
• Ensure timely and accurate songwriter payments
• Coordinate external and internal audits
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, workflow, and controls
• Oversee all stages of royalty distribution cycles for WCM-signed songwriters in Asia
• Manage outbound royalty reporting via the TANGO system and ensure timely client distributions
• Ensure pre- and post-distribution checks are executed with accuracy and within deadlines
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve any issues
• Ensure the effective administration of all necessary client file updates in our bespoke Deals & Royalties system Tango and SAP Finance systems
• Provide Clients with demos of Warner Chappell’s clients as required.
• Serve as a key business partner for A&R, Legal, Sync, and Finance
• Provide input into new deal analysis and onboarding processes for new & existing signings
• Represent WCM in external client meetings and regional working groups
• Collaborate with the Director Administration APAC on regional strategy and execution
• Contribute to technology improvements and workflow enhancements to the Client Portal
• Build and develop a customer-focused team culture within the royalties payable function
• Support with training to the relevant team member and business partners, workload management, and OKRs reporting.

Requirements

• PTP accounting background and desire to build career in business operations
• Significant experience in publishing administration and royalty management is preferred
• Proven experience in stakeholder management both internally across functions and externally e.g. clients and business partners
• In-depth understanding of music publishing rights, international society networks, and outbound royalty reporting
• Exceptional attention to detail, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Pivot, Power Query, macros)
• Familiarize in using SAP
• Working experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered at Assistant Manager level.
