About the role

  • Lead Inside Sales team of 7-9 Mid Market Account Executives selling into the UK&I market to expand business and grow customer base
  • Mentor, coach and develop Senior Account Executives on outbound cold calling, conversion, and deal close
  • Assist live with deal progression and negotiation across the team
  • Coordinate extensively with Marketing/Growth and Account Development Leadership to ensure quality lead volume for UKI market
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Finance and Order Operations to ensure smooth deal flow
  • Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to grow the UK&I market
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles and promote inclusivity and team success
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high performing team

Requirements

  • 6+ years sales experience
  • 2+ years experience managing a team (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodologies
  • Strategic problem solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • Interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong track record of overachievement with experience coaching outbounding
  • Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion
  • Ability to provide upward feedback
