About the role
- Lead Inside Sales team of 7-9 Mid Market Account Executives selling into the UK&I market to expand business and grow customer base
- Mentor, coach and develop Senior Account Executives on outbound cold calling, conversion, and deal close
- Assist live with deal progression and negotiation across the team
- Coordinate extensively with Marketing/Growth and Account Development Leadership to ensure quality lead volume for UKI market
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Finance and Order Operations to ensure smooth deal flow
- Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to grow the UK&I market
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles and promote inclusivity and team success
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high performing team
Requirements
- 6+ years sales experience
- 2+ years experience managing a team (preferred)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC)
- Knowledge of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodologies
- Strategic problem solving skills
- Project management skills
- Interpersonal and team management skills
- Strong track record of overachievement with experience coaching outbounding
- Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion
- Ability to provide upward feedback
