Responsibilities
Provide expert operational support for the GWAM Canada business.
Coordinate and support the implementation of Canadian Operations projects and initiatives.
Ensure process improvement projects are documented and adhere to best practices.
Identify operational or business risks and communicate them to leadership.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners and stakeholders.
Communicate risks and impacts to company operations and downstream processes.
Ensure all fund system setups align with project requirements.
Engage with stakeholders to understand scope, requirements, and impact of requests.
Liaise with custodians and valuation agents.
Review operating models and develop appropriate workflows.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
Over 7 years of experience in the financial industry, with relevant experience.
Experience and knowledge in fund accounting and back-office operations.
Solid understanding of the financial services industry, investment funds, insurance funds and investment securities products.
University degree, preferably in accounting or finance, CPA or CFA designation is an asset.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
