Manager of Crisis Services assisting with the development of crisis service lines in Oakland County. Collaborating with teams to improve service outcomes and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
Assist with the development and implementation of service lines that support the full crisis continuum.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of crisis services across the behavioral health system.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using data-driven approaches to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with CARF standards and other relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Support strategic planning initiatives by identifying gaps in crisis services and proposing innovative solutions.
Provide leadership and supervision to crisis service staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Assist in budget development and resource allocation to support crisis service expansion and sustainability.
Represent OCHN in community meetings, stakeholder engagements, and crisis-related workgroups, advocating for system improvements and partnerships.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support crisis service operations and uphold best practices.
Coordinate with emergency services, law enforcement, and hospital systems to strengthen crisis response pathways.
Contribute to workforce development efforts, including training, onboarding, and performance evaluation of crisis staff.
Support data collection and reporting efforts to inform decision-making and meet contractual or regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help implement corrective action plans when needed.
Assist with crisis-related communications, including public messaging, internal updates, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements
Master’s degree in a human service-related field (social work, psychology, counseling, family services, sociology, criminal justice).
LP, LLP, LPC, LMSW, LMFT.
Minimum five years of experience working in a human or medical service environment (school, hospital, crisis center, call center, community mental health agency).
Minimum of five years of leadership experience working within a managed care or community mental health setting.
Knowledge of public mental health service delivery systems.
