About the role
- Plan and schedule fuel distribution daily according to customer demand and fleet availability.
- Maintain active communication with carriers and the operations team.
- Implement measures to improve customer service efficiency.
- Develop tools that enhance service quality and delivery productivity.
- Ensure correct fleet sizing: analyze daily the availability offered and hold carriers accountable for any deviations related to maintenance, inconsistent loading times, or improper driver DSRs.
- Monthly, compare actual needs versus sales forecasts, analyze variation patterns, and align with the internal transportation team on the ideal fleet size for upcoming demands.
- Report failures, deviations, or operational issues, ensuring communication with all necessary areas to resolve problems and guarantee customer service according to requirements.
- Handle customer incidents together with the customer relations team, communicating with the involved areas and managers.
Requirements
- Experience: Commercial, Transportation, Route planning, Scheduling
- Soft skills: Communication, Proactivity, Organization and Time Management, Automation and scripting (VBA/Python)
- Technical skills: Microsoft Office + Power BI, Agile methodologies, Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related fields.
