About the role

  • Manage a caseload of civil defense matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
  • Handle complex and impactful civil defense cases in insurance, construction, employment, and commercial litigation.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing.
  • A minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Insurance Defense, Construction Litigation, Employment Law, Premises Liability, Liability Defense, Commercial Litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness.
