- Solicitor managing defendant personal injury caseload in a Major Injury & Casualty Team. Join one of the world’s largest insurance law firms in an expanding team in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- To handle in your own right a defendant personal injury caseload
- Drafting court documents
- Attending court hearings
- Conducting liability investigations
- Gathering evidence
- Preparing advice to clients
- Identifying medical experts and preparing instructions
- Reviewing medical records and other case related documents
- Providing the highest level of client care at all time
Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor or equivalent
- Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a litigated, defendant Casualty caseload including EL/PL, Occupational Health or Disease
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data
- Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
