About the role

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts including service agreements, client/merchant agreements, software development, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, LOIs, MOUs, and standard commercial contracts
  • Provide support on corporate governance and compliance matters; assist with preparation and maintenance of corporate documents and filings
  • Help implement and maintain company policies and procedures (compliance checklists, workflows, templates)
  • Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations (AML, GDPR, MiCA, VASP, fintech, gambling regulations) and summarize findings with recommendations
  • Monitor regulatory updates and assist in ensuring compliance with financial, corporate, and IT-related requirements; support data privacy requests and compliance documentation
  • Act as a legal project manager on cross-functional projects, coordinating with teams to integrate legal requirements into company workflows
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to internal teams (HR, Finance, IT, Marketing) under supervision
  • Ensure strict confidentiality in handling legal matters and maintain high professional standards
  • Support knowledge management within the legal team (updating templates, organizing reference materials)

Requirements

  • Master of Laws (LL.M) from an accredited law school
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial, corporate, or contract law
  • Familiarity with IT, financial services, or related sectors (desirable)
  • Experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and standard legal documents (service agreements, NDAs, DPAs, LOIs, MOUs, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS agreements)
  • Solid analytical and legal research skills with ability to provide clear summaries and recommendations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines with supervision in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2–C1); additional languages are considered an asset
  • Nice to have: Data Protection Professional Certification (DPO or others)
  • Nice to have: Experience in legal project management and implementation of legal tech tools
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity laws, crypto processing, and financial transactions
  • Nice to have: Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, AML, or ISO standards
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with cross-border transactions
  • Nice to have: Prior experience in a corporate legal department or in-house counsel role
  • Nice to have: Additional languages (Lithuanian, Estonian, Polish, Russian)
