About the role

  • Drafting correspondence, editing, and filing pleadings with state and federal courts
  • Scheduling depositions
  • Assisting in preparation and service of discovery responses
  • Assisting in preparation and filing of motions
  • File maintenance and maintaining attorney calendars
  • Travel arrangements, research, expense reports, and time entry
  • Collaborating with attorneys and support staff on litigation matters

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Very strong understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Excel and MS Office, including Outlook
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Juris Suite is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work independently as well as with the team
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Full-time availability, M-F, with possibility of overtime
