Legal Assistant for leading trading platform, maintaining corporate records and managing contract lifecycle. Collaborating with legal teams and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
Corporate Records: Maintain all necessary organizational documents.
Document Filing and Maintenance: Maintain all legal files and databases, ensuring records for contracts and corporate matters are accurate, current, and confidential.
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Oversight: Act as the subject matter expert for the organization's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, overseeing the process from request to final signature and distribution.
Secure Document Repository: Maintain and update the contract repository and all other legal files/databases, ensuring documents are accurately indexed (tagged) and secured.
Contract Review and Risk Analysis: Conduct a preliminary review of third-party contracts (like vendor or customer agreements) to ensure they align with the company’s policies and to identify unfavorable terms, ambiguous language, or potential legal risks.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Legal degree, with the ability and availability to work full-time alongside studies.
Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong task-management abilities.
Proactive and results-driven – willing to get hands dirty and deliver under pressure.
Responsibility for results - you're accountable and the driving force, not your manager.
Highly organized and detail-oriented – capable of managing multiple legal matters simultaneously.
Strong communication skills – able to convey complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
