About the role
- Project Proposal Lead Engineer responsible for technical and commercial proposals for Emerson in Europe. Leading project teams to satisfy customer requirements in automation solutions with a focus on process industries.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring understanding, managing and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or company’s partners through remote communication or site visits
- Taking full ownership of the delivery of the assigned technical and commercial large size and/or complex project proposals scope by leading team of Project Proposal Engineers
- Acting as a Solution Architect, applying technical expertise for the conceptual design development of Emerson solution
- Ensuring the innovative and cost-effective solutions are proposed
- Proactively applying methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort
- Ensuring stakeholders and proposal team members are proactively informed on the status or any challenges
- Acting as Project Proposal Senior Engineer delivering small and medium size project proposals
- Facilitating creation of an inclusive and supportive environment for all personnel within the project proposal team to ensure its high performance
- Acquiring, maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering field
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Experience in process automation field for various industries
- Good technical understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
